Music & Movement

With a Bachelor Degree in music education, our director Jo has designed a comprehensive music and movement program for our children. They’ll be singing, humming and dancing to popular nursery rhymes and songs, whilst learning the fundamentals of rhythmic movement.

The Gruffalo Garden

The Gruffalo Garden is a place for our little ones to connect with nature. They’ll be digging, potting, planting and weeding, whilst watching their efforts have a tangible impact on the garden throughout each season. What’s most fun is getting to eat the things we grow!

Science & Exploring

Through the exploration of cause and effect, our children get the chance to better understand the world around them. During our science and exploring sessions, they’ll develop communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills, with an element of analytical reasoning.

Creative Dancing

Particularly when our children reach pre-school age, exploring movement can help them to accelerate their development both physically, mentally and socially. Through our creative dancing program, they’ll be able to express themselves and release their emotion through the medium of dance.

Cultural Awareness

With a little more cultural awareness, the world can become a much friendlier and accepting place. Through our cultural awareness program, children will begin to gain a concept of diversity, ethnicity, religion and culture. We promote respect for everyone with each child’s experiences placed at the centre of the learning process.

School Readiness

Our school readiness program helps prepare our older children for the experience that is primary school. Focusing on 6 key outcomes, each child will be developing their fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, communication, social/emotional and self-help skills. It also incorporates subjects such as Maths, English, Visual Arts, PDHPE and Science—so they can hit the ground running.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How big are the class/group sizes?

We have smaller class sizes that are well below the maximum set by the national ratios for centre-based services. This provides your child with a much higher degree of individualised care and attention. Book a tour of our centre if you would like to see firsthand the high level of interaction your child will have with their educators and other children.

  • What do educational programs in child care achieve?

Early childhood education programs help your child develop strong social, emotional and communication skills as well as physical strength and fitness. These are essential skills to help your child grow and lay the foundations for a life of learning. Children learn in unique ways during their first five years. Our programs feature play-based and child-driven activities, to help your them reach their full potential.

  • Will my child be taught things to prepare them for school?

Our proactive approach to early learning means we focus not only on the now, but also on preparing your child for school; and for life. We deliver a school readiness program to ease your child’s transition to school, ensuring they have a positive start.
