Our Incursions

Learning From Others

Similar to excursions, structured incursions play an important role in fostering a child’s curiosity, creativity and understanding of the world around them. It’s an important opportunity to learn from people from other walks of life, and to broaden their exposure to new topics—ultimately helping to develop their critical thinking skills. At Dolphins Child Care Centre, children will be encouraged to get hands-on, taking part in activities and interacting with visitors from Tuncurry and beyond. With incursions, we mitigate any risk associated with outside visitors coming in; most will be familiar to our team already and all will have their Working With Children’s Checks in place. There is no travel involved for incursions.
