How much does child care cost?

It’s hard to miss the headlines about the spiraling costs of child care, and affordability is a huge issue for families of young children. Price varies according to location, inclusions, extracurricular offerings and is not regulated by government. Financial support via the Child Care Subsidy is available to help families with the cost of care.
How is the Child Care Subsidy paid?

The Child Care Subsidy is paid directly to Dolphins Child Care Centre fortnightly, based on the attendance records (session reports) the service submits. You pay any difference between the actual fee you are charged and the Child Care Subsidy that is paid on your behalf.
